Each Step
Each step we take in this life bears a consequence, some pleasant, some not so pleasant. And since the direction we choose to step is our choice, the consequences for that step belong to us as well. Each step brings us to a new place in life, in relation to ourselves, to others, and to God. Where we choose to step determines how we are influenced, and how & on whom we are able to be an influence. Each step deserves special consideration before being taken, because it may be our last step and we need to be sure that step will take us where we want to be found. 1 Samuel 20:3 "But truly, as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death." |
